ACM has openings for seasonal soil technicians. Primary responsibilities would include:

Soil Sampling

Crop Scouting

Installation of precision ag products

Assist in writing nutrient management plans

Help in seed sales

1. Self-motivated, responsible, and organized.

2. Trainable, strong work ethic, work independently.

3. Willing and able to represent ACM in a professional manner.

4. Use state road maps, county plat maps, and aerial photos to locate fields.

5. Communicate with ACM personnel, farmers and agronomists.

6. Operate ATV, computer, and GPS equipment.

7. Have a valid and clean driver’s license.

8. Travel and overnight stays.

9. Work some weekends when soil sampling.

Promotion to a full time position is possible. Almost all of our current full-time soil technicians started out in a part-time position.
