Improving yields and reducing input costs requires properly managing a farms soils. With the U Series, Veris Soil EC, OM and pH mapping is available in a compact yet powerful package.
Veris EC maps provide the precision needed for zone sampling and VRT. Soil EC maps define the soil texture variability by measuring the electrical conductivity of the soil.
Veris OM accurately maps soil variability missed by USDA soil surveys, providing the precision needed for Variable Rate Seeding. Soil OM maps are created by measuring soil reflectance at two wavelengths under the surface.
Veris rapid pH sensing allows you to capture true pH variability by customizing the density of data in order to create accurate lime prescriptions. Soil pH readings are collected with a stop-and-go system providing lab accurate values in 10 seconds.
Being able to map these three critical soil properties with a UTV reduces the total equipment investment and widens the mapping window.
